Michael Burg Charlotte is founder and current president of Edge Health as well as Edge marketing and entertainment. He studied at the University of Virginia from 1976-1981. After completing his studies, he went on to become the director of business and executive producer at Jefferson Pilot Sports network from the year 1983-1996. After that, he became the president of Edge marketing and management from 1996-2009 and finally from 2009 to present he is the president of Edge Health.

He has proficiently been able to produce, create and promote several shows like the Teen choice awards on Fox, Ice wars on CBS channel and the Kid’s choice awards on Nickelodeon. He has also successfully produced and promoted Atlantic Coast Conference and South Eastern Conference football and basketball tournaments aired on the Jefferson Pilot Sports network, a bunch of friendly and Olympic tournaments, tours and live events as well as celebrity-oriented television broadcasts.

Michael Burg Charlotte has also provided personal representation to various professional and Olympic athletes. He has in the past produced and sold advertising for the southern sports award show in partnership with Jefferson Pilot sports network. The show also received a 30 minute vignette series based on the Southern sports culture. This was one of Edge health’s promotional services for the award show.

In the interest of seeing a cancer free world, Michael Burg has used various resources in his power to create cancer awareness. Through his career in sport and entertainment career, he has successfully created a nationally televised and sport oriented television show known as Frosted Pink. The show’s main aim is to create cancer awareness, by urging women to take action against cancer, and educate them about the various types of cancers, which affect women. Frosted has successfully reached an audience of over 13 million viewers as well as over 100 million media impressions. The show has also partnered with Goodwill Community Foundation and four other non-profit organizations. Frosted Pink has managed to get over $ 35,000 in donation for the non- profit making organizations.
